Raw Juice for Healthy Living

Today is the 1st Day of Spring, a perfect opportunity to embrace the season by incorporating an array of fresh fruits and vegetables into your daily diet.

Raw fruit and vegetable juices are widely regarded as incredibly rich sources of essential vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. Due to their minimal need for digestion, these juices are swiftly absorbed into the bloodstream, offering a quick boost of nutrients. If you are considering altering your dietary choices, selecting particular raw fruits and vegetables can significantly enhance your immune system or aid a loved one facing health concerns. Introducing freshly prepared juices into your routine at home can promptly improve your well-being. Investing in a quality power juicer is a wise choice for maximizing the health benefits derived from consuming these nutrient-packed juices.

I highly recommend including cruciferous vegetables like brussel sprouts, cauliflower (including its leaves), broccoli, and kohlrabi in your juice blend. Not only do these vegetables provide exceptional nutritional benefits, but they also contribute a delightful depth of flavor to your drink.

While making juices, you will inevitably end up with leftover pulp, which is an absolutely ideal ingredient for creating flavorful soup bases, delicious muffins, and more. Don’t let it go to waste - get creative with how you reuse it!

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 orange, peeled and cut up

  • 1 lemon, peeled and cut up

  • 20 g fresh turmeric, peeled

  • 30 g fresh ginger, peeled and chopped

  • 1 bunch kale, washed and chopped

  • 4 celery sticks, washed and chopped

  • 2 pears, washed and cut up

  • 2 apples, washed and cut up

  • 2 cups fresh brussel sprouts, washed

  • green parts from fresh cauliflower if any available

Instructions:

  1. Juice all fresh ingredients in the high-powered juicer to extract every nutritious goodness.

  2. Utilize all the pulp from fruits and vegetables to minimize waste, ensuring nothing goes unused. This leftover pulp can be repurposed in various recipes such as soups, muffins, and nutritious cakes, adding both flavor and nutrients to your dishes.

  3. Fresh juice often comes with a thin layer of bubbles floating on top. A quick stir with a spoon easily mixes these bubbles back into the juice.

  4. To enjoy the best flavor and freshness, it is recommended to consume the promptly after preparation. Alternatively, if you choose to save some for later, you can store it in the glass jar in the refrigerator for a period of up to 3 days while maintaining its quality.

Cheers to your health!
